Professor Emily Blout on Mass Communication & Power in Iran

Prof. Blout was previously a researcher at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University, conducting research on non-proliferation and counter-terrorism policy at the U.S. National Security Council. She also served as Press Secretary in the U.S. Congress and worked on a number of high profile defense, environment, and foreign policy issues for a senior member of the Appropriations Committee. She also holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science and Strategic Security Studies.
