NetGov Lab Doctoral Researcher Dr. Fernanda Rosa Successfully Defends Dissertation

Dr. Fernanda Rosa, doctoral researcher at the Internet Governance Lab and former PhD candidate at the American University School of Communication, successfully defended her dissertation titled Global Internet Interconnection Infrastructure: Materiality, Concealment, and Surveillance in Contemporary Communication.

Student Scholar Fernanda Rosa Wins TPRC46 Student Paper Competition

Internet Governance Lab Doctoral Researcher Fernanda Rosa is one of three winners of the 46th Research Conference on Communications, Information, and Internet Policy (TPRC46) Student Paper Competition. Her paper is entitled "Internet Node as a Network of Relationships: Sociotechnical Aspects of an Internet Exchange Point." As part of this distinction, she receives sponsorship to attend the conference from September 21-22, 2018 at American University Washington College of Law; will present her paper at the prestigious conference; and will attend an Awards Luncheon.
