On Wednesday, December 3 2025, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) will host a virtual celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). The event, themed “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress,” will feature high-level speakers and a panel discussing inclusive social protection, assistive tech, awareness-raising, youth leadership, and care systems.
The Internet Governance Lab (IGL) invites its community to attend virtually, especially as global disability inclusion frameworks, such as the Doha Political Declaration, continue shaping inclusive digital and social policy.
