Lab Welcomes AU Fulbright Fellow Mr. Emir Sfaxi as a Fellow and Global Scholar

The Internet Governance Lab is pleased to welcome Emir Sfaxi, a Fulbright Fellow at American University, as a fellow and global scholar. Mr. Sfaxi has dedicated his career to public policy, ICT, and governance, and is a public policy consultant focusing on digital development, open government, and data analysis.

“Internet Universality” Talk by Dr. Mawaki Chango, Digital Identity and Internet Governance Scholar

The AU Internet Governance Lab and Institute on Disability and Public Policy are proud to host digital identity and Internet governance scholar Dr. Mawaki Chango on campus on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm for a talk entitled “Internet Universality” in Room 117 of the Don Meyers Technology & Innovation Building. Dr. Chango is Founder & Managing Director of DigiLexis Consulting.

Guest Talk on ICT Policies and Regulation in India

On Friday, July 13, the AU Internet Governance Lab hosted a guest talk by Dr. V. Sridhar, Professor at the Centre for IT and Public Policy at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) in India, entitled "ICT Policies and Regulation: Is India Different from Other Countries?" Dr. Sridhar's talk focused on radio spectrum management, net neutrality regulation, regulation of the app economy, and privacy regulation.
